An ether-based starting aid for engines that will not fire in cold weather. Ether ignites at a far lower temperature than petrol or diesel, so a short burst into the air intake gives the engine something it can burn on the first turn, cutting the prolonged cranking that flattens batteries and wears out starter motors.
